University of Cape Coast Lecturer Prosper Nartey has confirmed that he is close in taking over the vacant coaching of Ebusua Dwarfs.
On Monday, veteran trainer J.E Sarpong was sacked following the Cape Coast based club poor run in the Ghana Premier League. Dwarfs lie at the bottom of the log sheet with 9 points after 11 games.
However, in view of filling vacuum created the management of the club have targeted Prosper Nartey has Sarpong’s successor.
“It was yesterday (Monday) they contacted me, the club’s top hierarchy are still in negotiation with me we are not done with the negotiations but the deal is very close,” Nartey told Hot FM.
“No one should be surprise if I’m named as Ebusua Dwarfs new coach. I have done some few consultation, I aware that their current position is very bad so as a new coach coming on board you have to do everything possible to move the club from the relegation.”
Nartey holds CAF License A as well as Master’s degree in Physical Education.
