Hearts of Oak board member Thomas Esso has intimated that the club has received over 30 applications from coaches over the club’s vacant coaching job.
The Phobians despite appointing Henry Wellingnton as assistant coach are currently in the market in search of a new head coach after the departure of Yaw Preko.
Reports were rife that the former Premier League champions are in talks with former Asante Kotoko gaffer Didi Dramani but the club’s board member says, they have over 30 applications to take care off.
“We have about 30 coaches who have applied for the Hearts of Oak coaching job”
“We’ll appoint a substantive coach before the new season starts,” said Esso.
In other related news, Hearts of Oak as part of their preparations towards this Sunday’s G-6 semi-finals duel against their arch-rival Asante Kotoko in Kumasi, they will play a warm-up friendly against lower tier side Vision Explorers Soccer Academy on Thursday.
