New Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah has landed in Ghana from United Kingdom and has vowed to make the Black Stars big again.
Appiah arrived on Friday morning and he was met on arrival by the Ghana Football Association spoke person Sannie Daara, the media and some football lovers.
“You can never say never especially when it comes to coaching, you always have to make your mind open and when the opportunities comes you take it,” Appiah said on his arrival.
“I really appreciate the people who have come here to welcome me, i always believe the voice of the people is always the voice of God. I want to thank the president of Ghana, the FA and every Ghanaian for giving me the second chance to coach the national team.
“I will do the best that i can, but i can never do it without support. I will need the support and prayers of every Ghanaian to make our Black Stars big again.
Appiah who will be returning for the second time has been handed a two year deal by the Ghana Football Association following the departure of Avram Grant.
