Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has confirmed that he has held talks with Stoke City over a move to the Britannia Stadium.
The Ghana midfielder is thought to be on a move to Stoke from the Serie A team and Mark Hughes is in the market for a central midfielder.
In an interview with Starr FM, the 25-year-old is reported as saying travelled to the UK for talks with Stoke over a possible move, although Stoke are yet to put in a bid to Udinese for the player.
“Yes it is true I had an offer from Stoke, I was close to join the Club but the agent could not reach an agreement with the Club in the last minute.”
Badu added that his wish is to play in the English Premier League or join a big Club in Italy.
“Yes is every player’s dream to play in a big League like the EPL, so I will like to play in the English Premier League.
“I am also hoping to play for one of the top Club in Italy here, but for now we can tell, let’s just wait and see what happens.”
