Ghana’s Ambassador to Russia H.E. Kodzo Alabo has visited the Black Stars camp as they prepare for Tuesday’s international friendly against the Golden Eagles of Russia in Moscow.
The senior national team arrived in Russia on Sunday and held a training session on Monday ahead of the friendly match which will be played at the Lokomotiv Stadium in Moscow.
H.E. Ambassador Alabo, who has oversight responsibility over seven other countries, urged the team to go all out and make Ghana proud in Tuesday’s game.
“Ghana is held in high esteem all over the world when it comes to football.Ghanaians and other Africans here in Moscow and across Russia are all solidly behind you in this game.
“Interestingly, many of the Russians really admire the Black Stars so the team will have a lot of support. We will be there to support you and we will be expecting a positive result on Tuesday”, Alabo said after the team’s training session on Monday.
Coach Avram Grant’s squad flew to Russia over the weekend after their 1-1 draw against Rwanda in their final 2017 AFCON qualifying match.
