Aduana Stars defied all odds to beat Liberty Professionals 3-2 at home on Sunday on match day 10 of the 2016 Ghana Premier League.

Liberty Professionals prior to their clash with Aduana Stars have been ruthless at the Dansoman Carl Reindoff Park – winning all their four home games.

Latif Blessing in the 4th minute struck the first goal for the home side but 8 minutes later Zakaria Mumuni pulled even for the visitors. The first half ended 1-1.

Ebo Mends in the 70th minute restored Liberty’s lead but they got stunned as Aduana Stars came from behind to score two goals courtesy Yaya Mohammed and Derrick Sasraku as the game ended 2-3 infavour of the Dormaa based club.

At the T&A Park in Tarkwa, Medeama SC piped league leaders Wa All Stars 1-0 in a game which the winner was decided in the second half.

Medeama SC needed second half substitute Benjamin Basture’s 60th minute strike to pick the three maximum points at stake.

The Tarkwa giants after losing their match day 2 home game to Hearts of Oak they have gone on to win all their subsequent home games.
