Emmanuel Gyamfi says Kotoko cannot afford to drop points at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium against Berekum Chelsea on Sunday since that would pose a threat to the club’s title ambition. Kotoko, have their title destiny in their own hands, knowing that victories in the remaining last four matches, of which Chelsea are the first, could secure them the league title.
The players know that, this is a competition they could have easily won had they won most of their previous home matches. They are in this position after failing to pick maximum points at home and they have vowed not to allow that to happen again.
The sensational winger is optimistic that a story will be told on Sunday. “Not this time” Gyamfi said in an interview with Asantekotokosc.com in relation to their inconsistent run at home. “We are setting off a four-match winning run, starting with Berekum Chelsea. We haven’t been convincing at home but enough is enough.
“We are poised more than ever to win the remaining matches to brighten our chances of winning the league. We owe that to the Board and management and supporters; the coaches, and ourselves as players to win the competition” said Emmanuel Gyamfi.
