Kotoko players are back to work after their weekend break. The Porcupines resumed their training session on Monday morning. They will have another session later in the afternoon.
This week’s work will first look back briefly on their triumph in Accra over arch rivals Hearts following which they will firmly focused on their preparation for the match day 18 Premier League fixture away to Inter Allies at Tema.
Kotoko beat Hearts 3-2 on penalties last Friday in the President’s Cup match to avenge last year’s defeat they suffered in the hands of their rivals. The players were subsequently given rest throughout the weekend.
Interim head coach, Michael Osei, who himself spent the weekend in the capital, told Asantekotoksc.com in an interview that, they would be back to work Monday morning.
He was confident that, with the steady progress they have been making in the league competition, his team could be capable of securing the three maximum points at Tema.
