Liberty Professionals coach George Lamptey has labelled Hearts of Oak as the cheapest team his side has engaged so far in the Ghana Premier League adding it will be difficult for the Phobians to win the league.
The Dasoman based club scored the only goal in the game on the 18th minute courtesy Issah Shaibu after he was thread through by Ebo Mends.
Liberty didn’t only beat the Phobians by a goal nil, they did it in grand style as they outplayed and taught the Phobians some football lessons with the likes of Ebo Mends, Gerald Arkson, Tamimu Muntari and Latif Blessing tormenting the Accra giants.
“The opposition was too cheap we should have finished them first half.”
“It would be difficult for to them to take this league. Hearts is the cheapest team so far,” Lamptey said in a post-match interview
After the win Liberty are now at the 4 position with 23 points on the log sheet.
