NWL Match-Day 8 Review: Bafana Beats Halifax, Subayo Hangs on’ To Loosing Run

The National Women’s League (NWL) resumed over the weekend at the various league centers with some interesting results in the Southern and Northern zones respectively.

In the Southern Zone, Bafana Ladies triumph to a 1-0 win at home over Halifax Ladies.

League leaders – Hasaacas slipped to the second position after their 1-1 stalemate with Police Ladies at the Tesano Police depot park.

Lady Strikers floored Samaria Ladies 3-2, whilst Immigration Ladies hosted and succumbed to a 2-1 loss against Soccer Intellectuals at the El-Walk Sports Stadium.

Elsewhere in the Northern zone, Ampem Darkoa ployed strongly into the league after the two-weeks break with a 2-0 away win at Prisons Ladies.

Still in the Northern Zone, Real Upper Ladies were the visitors to Northern Ladies when they were hammered by the home side 3-0.

In the other fixtures, Fabulous Ladies went away to wallop struggling – Subayo Ladies 4-0.

Kumasi-based AshTown Ladies annexed all three points at home by defeating Lepo Ladies by 2-0.
