The Appeals Committee of the Ghana Football Association has sanctioned Accra Hearts of Oak to play their next two home matches behind closed doors, thus reducing the earlier order by the Disciplinary committee from three matches.
The Appeals Committee, however, upheld the ruling of the Disciplinary Committee to fine Hearts of Oak a total of GH¢ 12,000 for the three counts they were charged.
“It was this morning we received a letter from the FA indicating that the Appeals Committee have reduced the three matches behind closed doors to two.
“And also the GHC 12,000 which was initially imposed will be maintained. So the punishment is starting in our game against Hasaacas because our stay of execution was thrown out,” Administrative Manager of Hearts of Oak told Hot FM..
